Zonic Shockum is a no-holds barred power punk rock band featuring fiery siren Debbie Polak leading the assault on guitar and vocals. This long-lived group is one of the first such female-fronted acts from Philadelphia, having formed in 1989. It’s been a lot of shows and EPs in that decade. Here Today… is only the group’s sophomore LP. As such this is the perfect match to the 1997 eponymous debut LP in documenting their well-wrought aggro-pop.
